My name is Valerie Assi. I was born on February 11 ,1998 with parents Fatima Sori and Laurent Assi. I was always closer with my Mother than Father mostly because my parents divorced when I was only two and never really got to know him. So when I realized that he enrolled in the army I was worried. Me and my mother are very close and she started teaching me things at a very early age which is why i started school early. Im am currently getting ready for the seventh grade. I always wanted/dreamed to be in the entertainment business. I hope ssc will be able to make that dream come true!

This year(2009) at Newport Mill Middle School won an African American of Excellence award and if you havent noticed i started school early.
